NASCAR Day is an annual celebration in honor of the spirit, charities and fans of NASCAR.
Since 2004, this day has been celebrated annually on the third Friday in May to coincide with the annual NASCAR All-Star weekend.
NASCAR fans are encouraged to purchase a collectible Limited Edition Lapel Pin for yourself and a friend. Head over to the NASCAR Foundation's facebook page to Get your pin and Pin It Forward℠! Follow the Pin It Forward℠ challenge instructions and upload your photo.
The proceeds from NASCAR Day, which has raised over $1 million each year since 2005, benefits dozens of charities, some of which are:
- Victory Junction Gang Camp
- Speedway Children's Charities
- The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation
- Hendrick Marrow Program
